Malama MacNeil
Decade 80s
she/they
Native Californian of NW European ancestry, community elder & grief-tender, and way of council carrier, is a retired manual therapist, and hospice & family care-giver.
She greatly enjoys gardening, dancing, cooking & eating quiet meals with her life mate, being in & on water, wildflower & beach walks, naps in a hammock, reading & writing poetry, and community singing.
A fun fact is that in 2023, one week before she was scheduled to receive a total knee replacement, she won a kayak and associated gear in a raffle benefiting CHAT, so her post-surgical PT goal was to become nimble enough to use that kayak.
